Trimensional is an affordable 3D Scanning iPhone App that was released early 2011. Trimensional enables your iPhone to create 3D scans using only the light from the iPhone’s screen and the front camera. The idea is that you crank up the brightness on your screen, stand very still in a dark room and scan yourself. That doesn’t sound weird at all?
Trimensional the 3D Scanning app is available via iTunes in two separate levels. The basic level allows you to create the 3D scans and email them to your friends as Movie’s or animated GIF’s. The second upgrade level enables you to export the Scans as 3D Models and allows you to 3D Print your scans.
